I apologize for taking so long to post.
We have finally gotten adjusted to our schedule and friends. We have been busy playing doctor, dentist and vet. I love the opportunities to visit with you when you come to school each day.
It has been a fun few weeks. I have pictures posted from the petting zoo. Thanks to all who came to open house. It was great to see everyone and meet the rest of the family.
This week on Thurs. Oct. 25 will be our picture day. I will send an email reminder to dress cute since we don't have school the day before.
Our Fall Festival day is Thurs. Nov. 1.
There will be a variety of special seasonal activities set up on the fenced green
space. All parent and family members are invited to join us at 11:15
for the festival. Our E.L.P. Teachers have a great time with this
planning and getting ready for special seasonal fun.
We celebrate Thanksgiving with a special Big picnic in the fellowship hall. Come on Thurs. Nov. 15th and join us for a puppet show and fish sticks and bread snack. ELP will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday from Nov. 19-23.
We are so happy you are coming to our school.
Thanks for sharing your child with us.

Peacock Friends and Fun 13
Friends join in the fun Sept 20
This week we enjoyed the company of 8 friends from other classes that joined Friends and Fun on Thurs. and Friday. Each week we will include them in our play, circle time, work and fun activities. We will all work together and share the fun.
Next Thurs. we will have sensory days on the playground. Ms. Pat, the playground teacher, will put out lots of water, play dough, shaving cream, paint and glue. Send extra clothes so that we can change if anyone is uncomfortable.
Thanks for sending healthy food for snack and lunch. Please remember we are a peanut free school and want to provide a safe classroom for those with the allergy.
Thank you for sharing your child with us. We are having alot of fun with them.

Peacocks were busy today Sept. 13
We went through our schedule and enjoyed each part of the room. It was fun playing with the dramatic play center and the blocks. When we went to the circle we talked about our schedule and showed what to expect next in the day. We did some painting work at the table and explored the science and writing areas of the room. After snack we went out side. There were lots of love bugs today. Ms. Pat, the playground teacher said they like the shaving cream she had out today.
Have a great week and see you next Thurs. We will have a full day with our small group for one more week. Then we will welcome some other friends into our class for friends and fun.

Welcome to the Peacock friends and fun class Sept. 6
Thank you for sharing your child with us. We are excited for the new school year and we are getting the classroom ready. Next week we are meeting parents to share our plan for the school year. We will have plenty of time for you to share your child's strengths and abilities with us.
September 8& 9 are Gradual Entry days. Gradual Entry is a technique that allows children to adjust slowly to a new environment and limits separation anxiety that is appropriate for some developmental stages in childhood. The Peacock schedule is Thurs. arrival at 9:00 and dismissal at 10:15 on Friday arrival at 9:00 and dismissal at 11. We will start full days on Sept. 15th.
We are Proud to be Peacocks.
